1. Scope
1.1. "Cookies" are small records that a website stores in a browser. LYNX AI also uses browser storage for settings and interface state. To protect against abuse, technical characteristics of the device and browser, as well as session identifiers, may be processed.
1.2. This Policy applies to the technologies used in LYNX AI's own web interfaces, irrespective of the plan. The processing of personal data associated with them is governed by the Privacy Policy.
1.3. If the Client places the web widget of the Service on its website, the widget may store in the visitor's browser a dialog session identifier and the settings necessary to continue the correspondence. Such records are used on the Client's instruction for the operation of the widget; the Client ensures that visitors to its website are informed and that their consent is obtained where it is required.
2. Purposes and retention periods
2.1. Necessary records enable signing in, maintaining the session, protecting requests and loading the interface correctly. They are kept for the duration of the session or for a limited period that is necessary for the relevant function and is set when the record is created; session records may be renewed as work continues.
2.2. Settings records store the language, the selected workspace, sound and the order of interface elements. They are kept until the setting is changed or the storage is cleared; temporary settings are kept within the session.
2.3. Optional analytics and advertising technologies are used only after they have been connected and, where consent is required, after the user has made an active choice. Their purpose, the data obtained and the retention period are disclosed before they are enabled.
2.4. The set of records depends on the interface used and the sign-in method. Session records expire when the relevant session ends. The actual lifetime of cookies can be checked using browser tools. Persistent settings are stored on the user's device.
3. Consent and controls
3.1. Necessary records are used to provide the requested function and to protect the Service. Separate consent to them is requested where legislation requires it.
3.2. When an optional technology is connected, its purpose, the data obtained and the period are disclosed. Information about recipients is provided to the extent provided for by law. If consent is required, the technology is enabled after the user's active choice. The user may decline and may subsequently change the choice. Acceptance of the User Agreement does not replace such consent. Withdrawal stops further use of the technology to the extent within LYNX AI's control.
3.3. The user may delete records, restrict their use with browser tools and change the available settings in the interface. Clearing records may require signing in again; blocking necessary records may prevent the relevant functions from working.
3.4. Server-side security and usage accounting records are processed on an independent lawful ground. Their use for advertising tracking requires the grounds provided for that purpose.
4. Third-party websites and changes
4.1. Technologies of third-party websites, payment pages and messengers are governed by their own rules. LYNX AI is responsible for the technologies it connects in its own interface.
4.2. This Policy is updated when the technologies used change. Clarification of the description within the existing purposes and legal grounds does not require new acceptance of each version. If consent is required for a new purpose or technology, it is enabled only after such consent has been obtained; a previous refusal or withdrawal is not cancelled by the publication of a new version of this Policy. Material contractual changes apply in the manner established by the User Agreement (section "Changes and notices").
